The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is to present the Union Budget 2024 on February 1, 2024, in the ‘Budget Session’ that will commence on January 31, 2024. Production-linked Incentives Schemes-


To promote the manufacturing sector and foster job creation, Deloitte suggested that the government should consider expanding the coverage of the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme to encompass additional sectors such as garments, jewelry, and handicrafts in the upcoming interim budget.

The telecom secretary, Neeraj Mittal, said that the government is looking to bring an improved and better telecom production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme and is open for suggestions from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).


Tax Relief-
